Here is a message from our neighbours at Wabanaki School. They are inviting our community to their open house! In addition, there will be a Bessborough Grade 5 family visit later in the school year!

Message from Kim Marr (Wabanaki School Principal) 

The Home and School Association is excited to host an Open House. This is an opportunity to showcase our beautiful new school, happening this Thursday, March 13th, from 6:00pm to 7:30 PM.

Join us for an evening of:

·         Mingling with other parents, students, and staff

·         Guided school tours every 15 minutes, led by student leaders.

·         Passports will be provided so you can visit all areas of the school.

·         Completed passports will be entered into a draw for a prize!

·         Wabanaki Holistic Learning Framework

·         Snacks available for purchase

·         Food Trucks-Mama K’s and Fusion-bring your family and share a meal in the cafeteria

·         Food Trucks will be available beginning at 5pm- if you would like to come for supper. There will be tables set up in the cafeteria. This is an optional service and there is a fee.

·         A 50/50 draw

·         And much more!

In addition, the Home and School Association will be holding a silent auction during the event, this is a fundraising event for our school. Proceeds will directly support school-based activities, such as year-end celebrations, school events, and more. 

We look forward to meeting many of you at the open house hosted by our Home and School. Come out to visit our beautiful new school, view some of our talented student artwork and performances and meet our Wabanaki community!!
