Dear parent(s)/guardian(s),

Once again, Bessborough School will be participating in the Terry Fox Run/Walk. Here are a few details about the event:

When: The Terry Fox Run is set for Friday, October 11, in the afternoon. We will begin with a brief assembly in the gym at 1:00 pm to watch a video, see how much money we raised, and draw a few ballots for some cool prizes. Afterwards, K-2 classes will go for a walk on the soccer field and 3-5 will walk around the block. After the walk is completed, we will gather on the field for a school photo. 

Note: Students who do not have media release will have a sticker

visible on their shirt.

Fundraising Goal: The school goal is to raise $1000, and each class’s goal is set at $20.

Ballots for Draws: Students will receive a ballot for every $1 donated. Draws will be held during the assembly prior to the walk.BONUS: Mr. Basque and Mr. Williams are offering a SURPRISE for the class that raises the most money through their class page … PRIZE TBD.
