Good evening!

We only have two weeks of school left! It is unbelievable. Here is what is going on this week:

  • Sunscreen is a great idea at this time of year. The sun is finally out, and we want to ensure that our Bengals are protected! We will be going outside more during physical education, events, and during some outdoor learning time. Please feel free to send sunscreen with students, and we will remind them to apply it J
  • Drop-Off and school start: This is a reminder that the drop-off times are from 7:45-8:10am. After 8:10AM, we now ask that families come in to sign in students. We have had a high volume of traffic in the staff parking after 8:10AM. This helps us start the day on time.
  • Lost and Found: Please see the attached picture from this week!
  • Wabanaki School has booked a visit for grade 5 (future grade 6!) students on June 12th, 9-11AM. This event is only for students, during the school day.
  • Grade 5 Celebration: We will be hosting a celebration for outgoing grade 5 students, as they are headed to Wabanaki School. The event will be on June 13th between 12:25 and 1:30PM. Grade 5 parents have received an invitation by email.
  • Alternate conveyance forms are here for September. Please fill in this form and send it back to school if you need an alternate location for bussing next year, or email it to donnaj.lewis@nbed.nb.ca
  • If your family is experiencing food insecurity, please know that you are not alone. Bessborough School families can access support through 211 (https://211.ca).

Have a great week!
